HANOI 5 – DAY EXPERIENCE

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, we will arrange for your pickup and transfer to a hotel nestled within Hanoi’s lively Old Quarter – a bustling and highly sought-after destination for tourists. After completing your check-in, embark on a captivating half-day city tour of Hanoi. Depending on time constraints, you’ll have the option to visit either the historic Temple of Literature or Hoa Lo Prison. Experience a delightful cyclo ride through the charming streets of the Old Quarter, and be sure to indulge in Hanoi’s famous Egg Coffee. Later in the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. Following dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the vibrant nightlife of the Old Quarter at your leisure, with our tour leader offering valuable recommendations for your evening activities.

The transfer upon arrival is applicable exclusively if you arrive on Day 1 or if you have made pre-trip accommodation arrangements through our services. Kindly ensure you provide your flight details at the time of booking or, at the very least, 14 days prior to your travel date, as we may be unable to accommodate requests made within the 14-day window before travel.

Attending the welcome meeting is of utmost importance, as this is when we will be collecting insurance details and information about your next of kin. If you anticipate being late, please notify your travel agent or inform the hotel reception. You can also inquire at the reception or check for a notice in the lobby for precise details regarding the meeting’s location.

In the event that you are a private group traveling with our partner, we will arrange for the collective pickup of your entire group from the airport, in accordance with the tour’s inclusions.

Morning

Start your day with a pick-up service from your hotel at 8:00 am. Set off on a picturesque journey to Halong Bay, where you’ll be surrounded by lush green paddy fields and enchanting rivers. Upon noon arrival, board the cruise for a brief orientation and check-in.

Afternoon

Indulge in a delightful lunch as the cruise gracefully navigates through the breathtaking limestone islands. In the afternoon, we’ll make a stop at Surprise Cave, a remarkable natural wonder within Halong Bay. Ascend the stairs and prepare to be amazed by the awe-inspiring formations crafted by Mother Nature. Later, return to the main vessel and continue your voyage deeper into the Bay, with a visit to Titop Island.

After freshening up with a shower, you have the option to join us for a cooking class in the dining room or partake in a sunset party on the sundeck. As evening falls, mingle with fellow guests, try your hand at squid fishing, or simply unwind. Your overnight stay will be on board the cruise ship.

Good to know

Today’s travel will take about 3.5 hours. You can leave your main luggage at the Hanoi hotel.

Surprise Cave is accessed via stairs; the pathways inside can be somewhat uneven and slippery, so it’s advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes or sandals. Swimming in the bay from the boats is not allowed as per local regulations.

Your junk-style boat features twin-share cabins with en suite facilities and air conditioning. Since there are limited cabins, there’s no single supplement, and you’ll share accommodation with a fellow traveler.

Halong Bay has restrictions on overnight boats. Occasionally, you may stay on a larger boat (with up to 12 cabins) and share it with another group. Alternatively, your group might be split across different vessels, each with a group leader. Rest assured, the route and inclusions on board will remain the same.

Begin your day with invigorating morning Tai Chi exercises and a sun-drenched photo expedition on the sundeck. Enjoy a light breakfast accompanied by coffee, tea, and cake, and then set course for the captivating Luon Cave. Upon your return to the ship, it will be time to check out of your cabin while the farewell party awaits in the dining room. As you cruise back to Ha Long Harbour, take in the sights of renowned landmarks such as Ba Hang Fishing Village and Dog Islet.

You’ll reach Hanoi at approximately 2:00 PM. You’ll have some free time to explore the city at your own pace. Our tour leader will also provide you with suggestions for activities you can partake in during your free time.

07h30 – 08h00 : Tourleader will pick you up, and the journey to Ninh Binh province will commence.

09h15 : Enjoy a brief 15-20 minute break to relax.

10h30 : Explore Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the years 968 to 1010. Gain insights into Vietnamese history under the rule of the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

11h45 : Have  lunch at the restaurant featuring an array of local dishes, including goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are also available in the buffet.

13h00 : Embark on a 2-hour bamboo boat journey through TRANG AN. Be enchanted by the captivating scenery, including lush paddy fields, meandering rivers, serene waters, picturesque clouds, the expansive sky, and a mesmerizing cave system. This enchanting landscape is often referred to as the “Ha Long Bay on land” by the Vietnamese people.

15h00 : Continue your expedition to MUA Cave, where you’ll discover the finest viewpoint in Ninh Binh.

16h00 : Board the bus for your return journey to Hanoi.

18h00 : Arrive at your Hanoi hotel, where you will be dropped off, concluding your tour.
