This journey offers a jungle trek deep into Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park to explore hung Thoong cave system including Nightmare sharp cave, Tron cave, Hung cave, and Thung cave with camping by hung Thoong river and Ma Da crystal lake.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Hung Thoong is one of the wildest part of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, no tourist ever puts their steps into this area. This amazing trip will give you the best experience of Vietnam tropical jungle while hiking on a difficult terrains, crossing rivers, explore caves and meet with our jungle team.

Day
1 Phong Nha – Road 20 Victory – Hung cave – Tron cave – Nuoc Lan lake Basecamp

08h00: Pick up for briefing at Jungle Boss Headquarter

08h30: Depart for hung Thoong Exploration along Road 20 Victory

09h00: Start trekking through dense jungle to reach hung Thoong

11h00: Continue trekking to hang Hung cave

12h00: Picnic lunch at Hung cave

13h00 – 15h00: Explore Hung cave, and trek to Nuoc Lan basecamp

15h30: Swim 1,2km into Tron cave

17h00: Prepare campsite by Nuoc Lan lake

18h00 – 21h00: Enjoy jungle dinner at basecamp

2 Nuoc Lan basecamp – hung Thoong Spring – Thung cave – Nuoc Lan basecamp

08h00: Breakfast basecamp

09h00 – 11h00: Trekking along hung Thoong

11h30: Reach hung Thoong Spring, relax, swim and lunch at hung Thoong Spring

13h00 – 15h00: Explore Thung cave

15h00 – 16h30: Trek to Nuoc Lan basecamp

17h00: Camp at Nuoc Lan lake

17h00 – 18h00: Swim at the lake in Nuoc Lan basecamp

18h00 – 21h00: Enjoy dinner with our local team at campsite

3 Nuoc Lan lake – Ma Đa lake – Ho Chi Minh Road

08h00: Breakfast at Nuoc Lan basecamp

09h00: Trekking through the jungle to get to Ma Da valley

12h00: Arrive at Ma Da lake for lunch and swim at the lake

13h30: Start trekking to Ho Chi Minh road

15h00: Arrive at Ho Chi Minh road. Jungle Boss bus picks you up at transfer to Headquarter.

WHAT TO BRING

Two sets of long trousers & long-sleeved-shirt to avoid poison ivies and mosquitoes
Two sets of changing clothes for the nights at basecamp
Swim wear
Two pairs of long socks
Small backpack
Sandals or flip-flops & extra clothes
Dry bag (optional)
Hiking shoes (optional) or can borrow from Jungle Boss
